We are scheduling Masses for 2021. You may call the Parish Office (330-533-6839) to schedule the Masses, rather than visiting the office. Then just mail in a check. You are permitted up to 6 Masses per year per deceased person. Because the number of Saturday and Sunday Masses available for intention is somewhat limited, it is necessary to limit those Masses to 1 per year per deceased person. Weekday Mass intentions will be limited to 5 Masses per year per deceased person.
Mass offering is $10.00.
If you are interested in bringing up the gifts in the Offertory Procession, please see the ushers before Mass begins.
Enroll yourself or a loved one in our Perpetual Mass society. More information HERE.
Sponsor a new hardback song book in memory or in honor of a loved one. More information HERE.
THE WORD AMONG US
As many of you know, we provide copies of “The Word Among Us” for our parishioners; they can be found at the doors of the church at the beginning of every month. “The Word Among Us” contains the daily Mass readings as well as prayers and reflections to enhance your spirituality. But what you may not realize is that our subscription to this publication currently costs us over $800.00 a year. If you enjoy “The Word Among Us”, and would like to help defray the cost to the parish, you can make a donation in any amount to help us out. Simply mark your donation for “The Word Among Us” and place it in the collection basket, or drop it off at the office.
SOUP KITCHEN DONATIONS NEEDED
Volunteers from Saint Michael work one Saturday a month at the Saint Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen in Youngstown to prepare and serve breakfast to people in need. Please consider making a monetary donation to help defray the cost of required security protection. Extra money can also go for extra food. Just mark a plain envelope “Saint Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen” and place it in the collection basket on Sunday. It’s a tangible way to be a part of this important work.
BRICKS FOR THE FAMILY LIFE CENTER
If you would like to honor a deceased loved one, please consider a Commemorative Brick for the piazza at the Family Life Center. The cost of a brick is just $75.00. Forms are available in the Parish Office or at the Family Life Center.
If you are interested in ordering a brick please call Dana at the Family Life Center (330-533-3181) for more information. Brick orders will be place twice a year.
ADDRESS CHANGES/ CHURCH ENVELOPES
Please make sure that if you have recently moved or are planning to move that the parish office has your current address. We are charged for returned envelopes.
HANDELS ICE CREAM PINT CARDS
We are continuing to sell Handel’s Ice Cream Pint Cards in the parish office during office hours. The cards cost $5.25 each and the church will make a profit of $1.65 on each. All proceeds go to the Family Life Center.
ST. MICHAEL MONDAY AT INNER CIRCLE PIZZA
Just a reminder that Monday is Saint Michael Day at the Canfield Inner Circle Pizza. 10% of everything you spend there is donated back to the Saint Michael Family Life Center. This includes all food and beverages. All you have to do is mention “Saint Michael” and the donation will automatically be made. So if you are going out to eat on a Monday night, the Inner Circle Pizza is the place to go. Many thanks to owners and parishioners Mike & Karen Naffah.
