WE WELCOME OUR NEW YOUTH MINISTER!
We are very happy to welcome Mr. Dan Procopio to our staff as our new Youth Minister. Dan and his wife, Danielle, live in Canfield with their two children, Ethan and Elisa. Professionally, Dan serves as Director, Business Operations and Product Strategy at CBC Global and is also an adjunct instructor at Sinclair Community College, where he teaches business courses. Dan holds a Master’s in Education with a focus in Counseling, an MBA in Organizational Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. He has a strong commitment to community involvement and service. Dan is a co-founder of Elisa’s Entourage, previously served on the Board of The Walnut Grove, and has volunteered with the Down Syndrome Association of the Valley. He has also served as a catechist at Saint Michael Parish.
Dan enjoys teaching, mentoring, volunteering, traveling and spending time with his family. Welcome, Dan!

Dear Saint Michael Parish Families,
Thank you for the warm welcome I have received since joining Saint Michael Parish as Youth Minister.
I am excited about what we are beginning to build together and grateful for the opportunity to work with our young
people and families.
My hope is to create a Youth Ministry that our young people feel is theirs—a place where they can grow in faith, ask questions, serve others, build friendships, and know that they belong. We have already begun that work with our seventh- and eighth-grade students, helping them connect their Catholic faith to everyday life through learning, discussion, prayer, service, and some fun along the way. We are also beginning a Youth Ministry Council to give
our high school students a voice in what Youth Ministry at Saint Michael can become.
Scripture reminds us:
“Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe, in speech, conduct, love, faith,
and purity.”—1 Timothy 4:12
Our young people aren't simply the future of our parish—they are an important part of our parish right now. My hope
is that they know Saint Michael is their parish, too. They have a place here, a voice here, and an important role in our parish family.
I am looking forward to what God has in store for us.
