Altar Guild

Purpose:  The Altar Guild’s primary purpose is to raise funds for the liturgical needs of the parish. This includes the purchase of flowers, altar breads, candles, linens, sanctuary furniture and such. Over the past two years the Guild paid for two major and greatly needed improvements in the church: in 2016 a new sound system at a cost of $2,500.00; in 2017 new LED bulbs to improve lighting in the church at a cost of $1,600.00! The Guild Members help decorate the sanctuary and set up the Christmas Nativity display. The group meets monthly on the first Monday evening of the month with a planned program or guest speaker. In addition to special programs and social activities for their members, they sponsor fundraisers such as the 50th Anniversary Cookbook and Super Bowl Raffle. The Altar Guild is open to all women of the parish.  Want to find out more? Contact Joan Fergus, President, by phone: 330-533, 5972 or email: jferg@zoominternet.net
